Cellulite Reduction

To answer the question of what is cellulite, we know that cellulite is a series of ripples of fat cells under the skin.

Cellulite is usually found in the thighs and butt, especially in women, and can sometimes have the aspect of having a type of “orange peel” to it.

It is unclear as to why cellulite seems to affect women much more than men. It’s possible that there is a difference between the two genders in terms of skin composition or that the actual cell structure is different.

Why we even get cellulite is also a mystery. Its causes and why it comes to be is still widely unknown. Of course, there are theories to its appearance including thinking it to be fat cell problems or some kind of hormone imbalance.

However, we should remember that being overweight in and of itself is not a predictor of getting cellulite. There are many overweight people without cellulite and many thin people with cellulite. Having large amounts of fat does not automatically bring you cellulite.

While it is a fact that excess fat causes cellulite, this could be because enlarged fat cells put increased pressure on tissue and connective tissue surrounding the fat cells thus making the skin be affected in negative ways.

Possible solutions to cellulite involving dieting and otherwise attempting to reduce the fat cells that are there.

One other solution is to boost the skin’s production of collagen as a whole. This will mean that your skin’s appearance will improve and cellulite will become reduced. Choosing A Cellulite Body Treatment

No one wants to be walking around the beach wondering if people are noticing their cottage cheese thighs. When we go to the beach, we want to be free from sarongs and unsightly bathing suit skirts. It is most women’s fantasy to be able to parade around the beach in a barely there bikini bathing suit. Instead, many women are covering up with sarongs, skirts, and one pieced bathing suits to try to hide the cellulite on their legs, buttocks, and stomach.

The only cellulite cream that will have any positive effects on your dimpled skin is a cream that works to restore and repair the fat cell structure in the skin. Some anti cellulite cream only offer moisturizing, which will do nothing to repair the reason behind your cellulite. Dermatologists say that the only real cellulite cream that will work is a cream that has a group of biochemicals in it called methyxanthines. These special chemicals work to enhance the body’s ability to breakdown the stored fat that causes cellulite.

Finding what the best cellulite treatment for you is can be a daunting task. The most important part is understanding what options you have. From there you can determine what the best cellulite treatment for your cellulite is.

While the wrap does effectively reduce and remove fluids from the body, it is only temporary. Eating or drinking will soon replace the fluids, rendering the cellulite body treatment useless. In fact, some cellulite body treatment advocates for the body wrap claim that cellulite is simply water logged fatty tissue. Since this is most definitely erroneous, it logically follows that a cellulite treatment derived from such thinking would also be ineffective.

In addition, rapid loss of weight through rubber suits or wraps can be potentially dangerous, and possibly fatal. It can cause rapid and severe dehydration, as well as upset the balance of the electrolytes in your body. However, a reputable spa will be aware of these dangers and watch for them. If you chose to use this cellulite body treatment, make sure to do your research on the spa performing the body wrap to check their credibility.

Do not get discouraged if your cellulite cream does not appear to be working in just a few days; reducing and removing cellulite takes time! If it does not seem to be diminishing at all within a few months, try another cellulite cream. If you have been struggling for many years and have tried all cellulite creams available, then perhaps cosmetic surgery is the only option for you to remove your cellulite.
