How I Developed My New Weight Loss Program

Let me tell you a story…

Over the years, I’ve been receiving loads of email – to the tune of hundreds in a single day – from satisfied customers who made the choice to try out one of my Health Guides. The ones that surprised me the most was when my customers tell me that, aside from finally enjoying lasting freedom from their ailments, they also lost weight as an added bonus.

I remember thinking, “Wow, that’s swell. But how in the world did that happen?”

As I received more and more emails from grateful (and now slimmer) customers, I began noticing a pattern – they had bought those of my Health Guides that involved special exercises that aided breathing, such as my Headache And Migraine Relief program, The Fibromyalgia Program and other programs.

Initially, I didn’t understand why. How did the breathing exercises help my customers lose weight? I struggled to answer that question, going through medical journals, health books, and the Internet. No luck.

The funny thing is, I found the answer in a beautiful hardwood forest in northern Pennsylvania.

While camping there one night, I was trying to answer the question. At that time, I was having a hard time keeping my campfire alight. The fire was burning too slowly, and it made more smoke than heat. Even when I added more wood, it would not burn any higher.

Then, all of sudden, a strong wind blew over the campfire – and it flared up immediately.

That’s when it finally hit me.

I realized that my customers lost weight because the breathing exercises brought more oxygen into their bodies. I found out that to burn anything, you need three things: heat, fuel, and oxygen.

Our bodies already have heat and fuel (some with more fuel than others, unfortunately). I theorized that increasing the amount of oxygen into the system will let the body burn more fat.

So I set out to work. I gathered all the exercises that aided breathing I had in my programs and asked some individuals to test them. Many started losing weight steadily. As the days went by, they gave feedback as to how they did certain exercises differently, making them work even better for them.

I wrote down every bit of wisdom that came from these great people. Little by little, their feedback shaped my new Weight Loss Program.

I can’t begin to tell you how valuable my new Weight Loss Program turned out to be. My customers have been telling me how fast they were losing the pounds, faster than they’d ever seen before.

Apparently simple exercises, most lasting only a few minutes per day, also gives the following benefits:

1. More efficient breathing

2. Healthier lungs

3. Reduced stress (which, in turn, reduces obesity, hypertension, headaches, etc)

4. A cleaner body that burns fat even while you sleep

What’s more, the exercises in my new Weight Loss Program complements whatever diet or exercise program that you may be on now. In fact, it will make your body run as efficiently as it possibly, making you lose more weight, without stressing you more. You won’t break a sweat at all.

The exercises are so easy and simple that you can do them anytime and anywhere. No need to go to the gym or schedule a specific time to do them. You can do them while at work, during your coffee break, or while watching TV.

But that’s not the best part about my new Weight Loss Program. The exercises are designed to release the muscles that control the breathing process, allowing you to breathe more efficiently round-the-clock, in turn letting you lose weight 4/7. And the results are permanent – you’ll still be shedding those excess pounds long after you stop doing these exercises!

Warm regards,

Christian Goodman

The First Steps in Curing Obesity

March 10, 2007 by Peter

Obesity has become an epidemic, especially in The United States. An average of 300,000 Americans die each year and nearly $177 billion is spent on illnesses related to obesity. Obesity can affect your legs and back. It can raise your blood pressure and even cause diabetes.

We are becoming fat and lazy, but before we can conquer the problem, we have to start accepting responsibility for our own actions. What you are about to read may offend some people, but it needs to be said. Many people suffer from being overweight. It may result from a stocky build, slow metabolism, or some other physical reason, but it is a fact of life for many people. They will probably struggle with it their entire lives.

But obesity is different. A very miniscule percentage of obese people have medical reasons for their condition. The rest of them just cannot stop shovelling the food in long enough to see the consequences of their actions. How many times have you been in a restaurant or at a party and watched an obviously obese person shovelling in the food and drinking a diet soda? Do they think the diet soda will make all that fat and calories go away? It doesn’t work that way.

Please understand that the following suggestions are only the beginning of a very long and bumpy road to recovery. But even the longest journey begins with a single step.

Put Down That Twinkie!

Someone, right this minute, is probably reading this article and eating something fattening. If not, it has probably been less that an hour since they have last eaten. Before they can recover from their problem, they have to admit that they have one. And that Twinkie is the first sign If this is you and you feel that you absolutely must eat something, get some fresh fruit or vegetables. They not only contain the essential nutrients that your body needs for good health, but some will actually burn more calories that they replace.

See Your Doctor

If you are more than 50 pounds overweight, only a fool would recommend any diet plan until you are medically cleared by your physician. Your doctor can also advise you on the best programs to help you get started. This cannot be emphasized enough. Once you have eliminated the fattening foods, see your doctor before going one step farther.

Consider Seeing A Counsellor

Is there a deep seated, subconscious reason for your eating disorder or are you just a pig? The answers may surprise you. Once you discover the reasons for your self destructive behaviour, you will be better equipped to handle them.
If you cannot afford counselling, talk to a trusted friend, or, if you are a religious person, perhaps someone at your church. They may not be able to diagnose your problem, but they can be there for you when you encounter those bumps in the road to recovery.

The bottom line is this. Being fit not only will increase the likelihood of a longer life, it will make that life much more pleasant.

Acupuncture is a technique in which very thin needles of varying lengths are inserted through the skin to treat a variety of conditions. Acupuncture is most commonly associated with Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is a Chinese therapy that has been used for centuries.

Losing weight is not always as eas y as controlling your diet or exercising. Many overweight people are overweight because of various health conditions that do not allow them to get on a strict diet or exercise excessively.

  3. have as much physical activity as possible.

There are simple yet very effective exercises such as yoga and Pilates, which can be done in the comfort of your home, whenever you have time.

Helpful Tips

  1. It is important you set some rules for yourself to follow at all times
  2. Never eat when you are distracted such as in front of the television or while working on the computer as almost always you will over eat
  3. Always place small quantities of food in your plate and eat slowly because the brain takes approximately 20 minutes to register that the stomach is full and some of us take about 10 minutes to eat a full meal.
  4. Make eating an enjoyable experience not something you do on the run where you don’t pay attention to what and how much you are eating.

Obesity Treatments to Improve Health

February 21, 2007 by Peter

Obesity has become a common problem in the United States, affecting approximately one in every three adults in this country. Obesity has also become a growing problem among this nation’s children. There are many complications that can arise from obesity, including high blood pressure, diabetes, coronary artery disease, and even some forms of cancer. Because obesity can be a dangerous condition for many people, and affect quality of life in negative ways, obesity treatment is important in providing overall good health and well-being. Studies have shown that losing even a small amount of weight can improve health in obese people. Obesity treatment generally involves some type of weight loss rogram in tandem with an exercise regimen and emotional counseling when necessary.

Losing Weight is the First Step in Obesity Treatment

There are many theories circulating about the best way to lose weight. For a person who is obese, weight loss an seem like an insurmountable obstacle to better health. The key to effective obesity treatment is to work closely with your doctor to ensure that your weight loss rogram will be the healthiest for you. Before you begin any type of program, your doctor will need to give you a thorough checkup to find out if there are any other medical problems that are the result of obesity. For example, if you are suffering from high blood pressure, your diet and exercise program will need to be modified accordingly so that it is safe for you. Partnering with your doctor on your chosen program will also allow him to monitor you closely throughout to ensure that you achieve your desired results.

Diet modifications will undoubtedly be the first step in obesity treatment, and there are many options for diet programs available. Many doctors will refer to the Mayo Clinic modified food pyramid that is designed for weight loss s well as optimum health. This pyramid places fruits and vegetables at the bottom of the chart instead of grains, since fruits and vegetables are extremely low in calories and very high in nutritional content. Many people find that by simply following this eating chart they can lose weight and see an improvement in their overall health. Most doctors will avoid fad diets like the Atkins or South Beach diets since they are generally not effective and can be dangerous for certain types of medical conditions.

If diet and exercise do not bring about the desired results, there are also prescription medications that you can take to enhance the effects of the diet and exercise program. In some of the most extreme cases, there are surgical procedures available that can bring about dramatic weight loss esults. Your options in obesity treatments can be discussed with your doctor to determine which course of action is the best for your individual obesity treatment.
