In my last article I began addressing the number one question I am asked ?How can I get bigger biceps?? There are hundreds of exercises out there; here are just a few to get the arms everyone will envy.

Hammer Dumbbell Curls:

This next exercise is a body builder’s dream come true; it works out your biceps and forearms at the same time.

With feet a shoulder’s width apart, grab your dumbbells, letting them hang at arm’s length. Keep your elbow’s tucked in close to your sides and your palms facing each other throughout this exercise. Curl the dumbbells up to shoulder level using biceps and forearms only. Hold for a moment to gain the maximum effect of muscle tension, then slowly return dumbbells and repeat.

The next exercise requires an incline bench. If you don’t have one at home, remember it next time you are at the gym. This curl isolates both the biceps and forearms alike so you won’t have to use as much weight.

Inclining Dumbbell Curls:

Lie back on an incline bench, feet at shoulder’s width apart, let dumbbells hang on each side of the bench, at arm’s length. Curl the dumbbells to shoulder level, using biceps only. Hold for a moment then return slowly to starting position and repeat. Only your forearms should have moved during this exercise.

That’s it! Keep checking back for more exercise, general fitness and health articles. There are more bicep exercises to come, too. See you next time you’re in the gym!
