We all know that green tea is something of a natural wonder drug. Since it works as an antioxidant, it is most useful to anyone committed to improving general health and losing weight in the most efficient manner. Medical research continues on all the ways that this wonderful and complex herb helps the human body. You can, of course, simply drink this delicious beverage or else buy green tea extracts in tablet or liquid form.
One of the major benefits to the human body’s functions is the abilities to speed up cell regeneration and slow the process of oxidation in the body; these serve to guard your body against aging. Most weight control products using green tea rely on the laxative and toxin excretion properties of the green tea that will speed up the rate at which your body burns fuel. Increasing the fuel burning, or metabolic rate, will prevent fatty tissue (which is in reality excess calories) from forming.
Green tea works best when used in addition to good eating habits and moderate amounts of exercise; the user must be committed to using the tea in conjunction with other lifestyle changes to achieve results. Remember that losing weight also involves mental lifestyle changes as well.
If you are preparing green tea as an infusion, you should take it at bedtime. When you begin taking green tea it may cause stomach or bowel discomfort for a day or two, although if you continue to use the tea this discomfort will disappear rather soon. This reaction could concern you, but it is the way that these supplements work. This is just the supplement helping to let the body increase its rate of metabolism. If you follow a sensible
weight loss iet that includes ample vegetables, plenty of liquids and are sure to exercise, you can usually witness results within a week.
A common additive to green tea is ginseng root extract, as the combination makes both ingredients work more effectively. Ginseng root not only provides minerals and vitamins the body desperately needs during a detox regimen, but it has long been called the ‘root of life’ in Tibet and China.
When combined with green tea, ginseng produces a noticeable effect in someone trying to lose weight s it supports the immune system when it is stressed, serves as a valuable source of energy, and is safe to take with green tea even during programs of up to 26 weeks.
